Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended to 29 June the Rs 499 Bharat Fiber broadband plan it had launched in February on a promotional basis.
The contract was set to expire on 31 March and provides 100 GB data benefits at speeds of up to 20 Mbps.
The state-run telecommunications company has posted specifics of the program on its website.
The Rs 499 plan offers speeds of up to 20 Mbps to 100 GB CUL, after which the speed is reduced to 2 Mbps. It comes with unlimited downloading of data, and unlimited local and STD calls to any network. The calling rate for the ISD is 1.20 Rs.
However, this plan does not include a one-year Amazon Prime subscription which comes for Rs 999. BSNL customers will get an Amazon Prime subscription on any of its other plans.
BSNL, on 20 March, also revealed a free-of-cost “[email protected]” promotional broadband plan for its landline customers. It was launched to enable people to work from home and prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. The service provides up and 10 Mbps download speed with a limit of 5 GB per day.
