Mumbai: The Ayush Ministry has roped actress-producer Anushka Sharma in Bollywood to encourage yoga among the masses ahead of the June 21 International Yoga Day.
“Let’s all practice yoga for a better and peaceful tomorrow. Participate in the # MyLifeMyYoga video blogging contest, and send in your entries now. The last day to apply is June 21, 2020. # mygovindia # pibindia @AnushkaSharma,” the Ministry of Ayush tweeted on Friday evening.
She shared also a video in which the star, a yoga enthusiast, spoke about the benefits of yoga.
“Yoga is the law, and it tells us how to moderate our lives. Yoga does not bind us, it liberates us. So, with the feeling of love and peace, we can look at all the creatures of this world. So, to spread the message of peace and love, let us begin by practicing yoga on the 21 June International Yoga Day,” Anushka said.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma is all set to release a period horror film on Netflix from her upcoming production, “Bulbbul.” “Bulbbul” stars Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chatterjee in key roles, written and directed by Anvita Dutt.
