New Delhi: Superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan used to greet the sea of fans present outside their home in Mumbai during Eid, but this year it’s a different picture. Roads are deserted, people have been confined to their homes, and so are the celebrities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Eid, which is celebrated with much fervor throughout India, is not the same in 2020. The pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, and a lockdown has been imposed in India to contain the spread of the virus. As a result , people have refrained from leaving their homes for prayers, and celebrations are taking place in a close-knit circle.
Perhaps for the first time on Eid, the roads outside the homes of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have seen such a lonely look. Every year, people, paparazzi, were stationed outside the Galaxy Apartments and Mannat, respectively, to catch a glimpse of the stars. Salman usually stood in his balcony and waved at the people, while SRK, accompanied by Abram ‘s son, welcomed the crowd.
