Two consecutive earthquakes struck the north-eastern state of Manipur on Monday morning. The two earthquakes were reported one from another within 13 minutes. The first one, weighing 5.5, took place at 8.12pm about 13 kilometers south-west of Moirang town in the district of Bishnupur. Another tremor, measuring 2.6, that happened about 20 kilometers west-south-west of the same town followed. No injuries have been confirmed.
