New Delhi: The total number of coronavirus patients in the national capital has crossed one-lakh with 1,379 new positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, the Delhi government said on Monday evening.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi reached 1.00.823, while the death toll rose to 3.115 after 48 more people in the national capital succumbed to a viral infection.
According to the government today there have been as many as 5,327 RTPCR tests and 8,552 rapid antigen tests. A total of 6,57,383 samples have been tested in the town so far for coronavirus infection.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said earlier in the day that approved helpline numbers of all the city’s COVID hospitals are reflected in the mobile application from Delhi Corona. This was done as the government received several complaints from the citizens that most of the time, helpline numbers of these hospitals remained unreachable.
